The rules accept only an unedited photo, so this tool isn’t the right way to make it.
Where no head height is given, the card sizes the head to the international standard: 70–80% of the photo’s height.
1
Taken in the last six months, facing the camera, eyes open, no glasses, against a white wall.
2
The card opens on the online passport size, 35 × 45 mm on white. Choose Visa for the visa form.
3
Tap Save photo. The passport file stays under 5 MB and the visa file under 350 KB.
If you apply in person at a passport office, the photo is taken at the counter. Online applications, such as renewals from abroad, need your own photo: 45 mm high and 35 mm wide, a plain white background, the face taking up 70 to 80% of the photo, no glasses, eyes open and mouth closed, and a file of up to 5 MB. A head covering is fine if your face shows from chin to forehead, with both edges visible.
The online visa system asks for the same 35 × 45 mm photo on white, no more than six months old, up to 350 KB. The card keeps each file within its limit, in your browser.
NICOP and Pak-ID applications are different: NADRA asks for a professionally taken photo that hasn't been altered, so this tool isn't the right way to make that one. We can't promise any office will accept a photo.
