Fit a photo to a website, a profile, a slide or a print form. Drop it below, pick a ready-made size or type exact pixels, and the copy is made on your device.

Choose Files
1
Drag a JPG, PNG or WebP onto the box above, or click Choose Files. The resizer works on one photo at a time.
2
The assistant opens with your photo and offers 1920 px, 1080 px and 2048 px on the longest side, or half size, each with the new pixel size and roughly what the file will weigh. Or type exact numbers, such as “1200 × 628”.
3
The resized photo comes back with a download button, in its own format unless you asked for JPG, PNG or WebP. The original is left untouched.
The quick sizes only ever make a photo smaller and always keep its proportions: a photo 1,200 pixels across is never blown up by the 1920 px option. Half size divides both sides by two. These are the safe choices for a website, an email or a chat.
Exact numbers are the way to change a photo's shape or make it larger, up to 8,000 pixels a side. If the width and height you type have a different shape from the photo, the picture is stretched to match. A single number, such as “1600 pixels”, limits the longer side and scales the other to match.
Enlarging cannot add detail a photo never had, so a small picture made bigger looks softer. Resizing happens in your browser, the photo is not uploaded, and the new file leaves out hidden details such as the location. For a strict file-size limit rather than a pixel size, use the image compressor.
