Pictures saved from websites often arrive as WebP, which some apps, editors and upload forms still refuse. Drop them below and get JPG copies made on your device.
Drop or choose your WebP images
The assistant opens with your files and does the rest.
Choose Files
1
Drag the WebP files onto the box above, or click Choose Files. You can select or drop several WebP files at once, and the request to convert them to JPG is already there.
2
The assistant opens with your images and offers JPG with an estimate of the new size. Tap it to convert everything you dropped.

Each WebP comes back as a JPG with its own download button, and the original WebP files stay unchanged.
WebP is the format many websites use to load pictures quickly, so the images you save from a browser or receive in a chat are often WebP files. Older photo editors, some office apps and plenty of upload forms still accept only JPG or PNG.
JPG is the format nearly every device, app and form understands. Both WebP and JPG compress the picture, so the conversion uses a high quality setting by default to keep a second round of compression hard to see. If a WebP has transparent areas, they become white in the JPG.
The images are decoded and saved again in your browser, so nothing has to be installed and the files stay on your device. Each JPG is a fresh file, without the hidden details the original may have carried.
