By accessing or using MediaConverter.io ("the Service"), operated by Inverse AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

MediaConverter.io is a browser-based video editing tool. All video processing, rendering, and export happens locally on your device. We provide the software interface; you provide the content and computing resources (your browser and hardware).

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, edit, or export using MediaConverter.io. Since your files are processed locally in your browser, we do not have access to, nor claim any rights over, your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any media you use.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service

Accounts

Creating an account is optional. If you choose to sign in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual Property

The MediaConverter.io software, branding, design, and documentation are the intellectual property of Inverse AI. The stock audio library included in the editor is licensed for use within MediaConverter.io projects. You may not redistribute stock audio files separately.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Browser-based processing depends on your device capabilities, browser support, and available system resources.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inverse AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or device issues.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
