Choose Files
1
Drag JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF files onto the box above, or click Choose Files. Mixed formats are fine, and you can add many at once.
2
The assistant opens with your images and shows the formats they can become, each with the size it would give your files, and warns you when one would make them bigger. Tap the one you want.

Every image comes back in its new format with a download button. The files you dropped stay exactly as they were.
JPG is the safe choice for photos: nearly every device, app and website accepts it, and it keeps files small. PNG stores every pixel exactly and supports transparency, which suits logos, icons and screenshots of text. WebP usually makes the smallest file of the three for the same look, and current browsers and most modern apps open it.
Seeing the sizes first takes the guesswork out. A photo turned into a PNG often grows to several times its size; that is normal for the format but rarely what you want, so the options point it out before anything is converted. For JPG and WebP you can also ask for a quality from 1 to 100, or for a smaller longest side, in the same request.
GIFs are read as a still picture from their first frame, and iPhone HEIC photos open only in Safari, which decodes them itself. JPG cannot store transparency, so see-through areas turn white; PNG and WebP keep them. Each picture is converted in your browser, and the new file leaves out hidden details such as the place it was taken.
