How to Make a Photo Collage

1

1

Drop the photos in order

Drag 2 to 12 photos onto the box above, or click Choose Files. They fill the layout in the order you add them.

2

2

Choose a layout

The assistant opens with layouts made from your own photos, the best fits for your number of pictures first. In layouts with one large spot, that spot goes to your first photo. Tap the layout you like.

3

3

Download the collage

The finished collage arrives as one image with a download button, 1080 × 1080 pixels unless you ask for another size. Your photos are not changed.

Layouts You Judge with Your Own Photos

There are 12 layouts, from two photos side by side to grids of nine and twelve, and arrangements with one large photo beside or above smaller ones. Each preview is the real collage at a small size, made with your pictures, so a cut-off face or a hidden detail shows before you choose.

Every photo fills its spot and is trimmed around the middle to fit, so nothing is squashed. Ask in words for another size (a larger square, portrait 4:5, a 9:16 story or a wide 16:9), a different background color, wider gaps, square corners or the photos in another order.

The collage is saved as a JPG by default, or as a PNG or WebP if you ask, always on a solid background. It is drawn in your browser, so your photos are not uploaded, and the file carries no hidden details such as locations.

  • 12 layouts for 2 to 12 photos
  • Previews made from your own pictures
  • 5 sizes, from square to story
  • Background color and spacing on request
  • Free, with no sign-up and no watermark

Collage Maker: Questions and Answers

01

What if I have more than 12 photos?

A collage holds up to 12 photos. Split a larger set into two collages, or leave out the shots you like least.

02

Can I choose which photo gets the big spot?

Yes. The first photo you add takes the largest spot in layouts that have one, or ask the assistant to put a particular photo first.

03

Can I write text on the collage?

Make the collage first, then ask to add text or a logo as a watermark to that finished image. The layout step itself adds no text, and stickers or freehand drawing are not available.

04

Do I need to sign up or install anything?

No. It works in a modern web browser on a computer or a phone, with no account to create, nothing to install and no watermark on the result.

05

Does it change the file I drop?

No. Every result is saved as a new file, and the file you dropped stays exactly as it was.
