How do I rotate a video 90 degrees?

Will rotating my video reduce its quality?

Rotating bakes the new orientation into the picture, so the video is re-encoded rather than copied bit for bit; for everyday phone and camera clips the difference is hard to see. Where your browser cannot encode the video itself, FFmpeg encodes it in software (H.264, or VP8 for WebM) at a standard quality setting in 8-bit color, which can lose some detail on very high-bitrate or 10-bit HDR footage.

What video formats can I rotate?

You can rotate MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV videos, and the AI assistant also rotates AVI and FLV files. Export the result as MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV.
