Cut or Trim: Two Ways to Edit a Clip

Most clips have something you do not want in them: a slow start, a stumble in the middle, an ending that runs on. The tool has two modes. Cut removes the section you select and joins what is left; Trim keeps only the section you select and drops the rest.

What is the difference between Cut and Trim?

Cut deletes the selected section and joins the parts before and after it. Trim does the opposite: it keeps the selected section and deletes everything outside it.

Can I remove a part from the middle of a video?

Yes. Choose Cut, select the middle section on the timeline and export. The video before and after the selection is joined into one file.

Which formats can I save the video in?
