Where no head height is given, the card sizes the head to the international standard: 70–80% of the photo’s height.

Taken in the last six months, your whole face visible, eyes, forehead and chin uncovered, no tinted glasses or sunglasses.
2
The card sizes the head to the international standard, because NVI doesn't publish its own head size.

Turkey's identity authority, NVI, asks for a biometric photo that meets the ICAO standard: 50 × 60 mm, taken from the front within the last six months, with the face fully visible, the eyes, forehead and chin uncovered, and no tinted glasses or sunglasses. The same size is used for the passport and the ID card, and a biometric photo is needed at every age.
NVI says photocopies and photos reproduced on a computer aren't accepted, so print the saved photo at a photo lab on photo paper. It gives no head size or background colour, so the card uses the ICAO standard: the head 70 to 80% of the photo's height, on a plain light background.
The photo is made in your browser and isn't uploaded. We can't promise the office will accept it.
