Tap Save photo and print it on glossy photo paper at its real size.
A Chinese visa photo is 33 mm wide and 48 mm tall. The head, from the base of the chin to the crown, measures 28 to 33 mm, and 15 to 22 mm across, with at least 7 mm between the chin and the bottom edge. The background is white or close to white with no border, and the photo is from the last six months.
Glasses are allowed only with clear lenses and no glare, and a head covering only for religious reasons, with the face fully visible.
Applying online? The visa form takes a digital photo of 354 × 472 to 420 × 560 pixels and 40 to 120 KB, and offers its own crop tool; this card makes the printed 33 × 48 mm photo. For a Chinese passport applied for abroad, the embassy refuses modified photos, so switch off Plain background. Everything is made in your browser, and we can't promise acceptance.
