The editor saves one JPEG in your browser. It does not provide physical prints, photographer certification or an acceptance guarantee. Keep your original file and follow the application channel's official instructions.
Australian passport photos must be 35–40 mm wide and 45–50 mm high. The head height from chin to crown must be between 32 and 36 mm. The editor's 35 × 45 mm preset uses the minimum width and height within that range; it is not the only official print size. Photos must be less than six months old.
The Australian Passport Office recommends a professional passport photo provider and does not recommend online photo services or mobile apps. Its examples reject an edited background, and its guidelines prohibit retouching such as removing moles, wrinkles or scars. The original setting should provide the plain white or light grey background, even lighting and natural skin tone the office requires.
Photos must be good-quality colour prints produced using dye sublimation, rather than an inkjet printer, on heavy-weight glossy photographic paper of at least 200 gsm. This editor saves a JPEG with a print-size hint. It does not supply photographic paper, physical printing or certification. Check the linked official guidance and your provider before submitting your photo.
