Drop a photo or a scanned signature and get a JPEG under 20 KB, made in your browser. If it can't get that small, you're told the closest size it reached.

Choose Files
1
A photo or a scan of your signature, as JPEG, PNG or WEBP. A size limit works on one image at a time.
2
It's already written: under 20 KB, with a smaller pixel size if that's what it takes. Add exact pixels if your form gives them.

The result shows its new size and pixel dimensions. Download it, or ask for a different size.
Twenty kilobytes is about the size of a small thumbnail, and online forms ask for it most often for signatures and small ID photos. A normal phone photo is hundreds of times larger, so a lower quality alone can't close the gap: the picture has to get smaller in pixels too, usually a few hundred pixels across.
The assistant writes a JPEG and tries quality settings from high to low, stopping at the first one under the limit, so you keep as much detail as 20 KB allows. It never goes below a quality of 30. If that still isn't small enough at the chosen size, it tells you how small it got, and a smaller pixel size fixes it.
For a signature, crop away the empty paper first: less area means fewer bytes. The crop and the compression both run in your browser, and the image isn't uploaded.
